About EverydayBenefitGuide
Is EverydayBenefitGuide a government website?
No. EverydayBenefitGuide is an independent informational website. We aren't affiliated with any government agency and we don't run programs, accept applications or decide eligibility.
Do you charge for anything?
No. Our guides, articles and tools are free to use, and you never need an account.
Do you sell products or refer people to companies?
No. We don’t sell insurance or financial products and we don’t match visitors with providers or offers. We explain topics and link to official sources.
How do you choose sources?
We rely on official government and established nonprofit websites, and link to them in every guide so you can confirm details yourself.
Using the guides and tools
Can you tell me if I’m eligible for a program?
We can’t. Eligibility rules vary by program and state. Our guides explain how rules generally work and link to the official office that can give you an answer.
Do the tools save my information?
No. The budget snapshot, document checklist and savings goal planner run in your browser. Nothing you type is stored or sent to us.
How often is content updated?
We review guides regularly. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Email and text updates
What texts will I get if I sign up?
It depends on the boxes you check. Account notifications include sign-up confirmations, preference changes and new-guide or new-tool alerts. Marketing texts include seasonal reminders (like tax season or open enrollment), new free tools and guides, and featured articles.
Do I have to sign up for texts?
No. Both boxes are unchecked by default and signing up is never required to use the site. You can also sign up with email only.
How often will I get texts?
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
How do I stop texts?
Reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or email support@everydaybenefitguide.org.
Will you share my phone number?
No. We never sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates.
